Small YouTube media budget results in 18k views

You don't need a big budget to attract views to your YouTube music videos. Perfect Pitch recently created a trial campaign for our client Savage Montage. With only a small YouTube media budget, it resulted in over 18k views!

The campaign aimed to increase the views of two Savage Montage music videos for the songs 'Maybe (Is It Over)' and 'Fire'. We tested the popularity of the respective videos by running with the same ad. paramaters for both (location, demographics, interests, budget, duration), so we could see which appealed more to the target audience.

We set the media budget to run the 7-day ads. at only $100 per video. The results were impressive!

  • YouTube estimated views of the 'Maybe (Is It Over)' music video more than tripled
  • while those for the 'Fire' music video more than doubled.
  • In total there were over 18,000 new views during the campaign period.

Trial campaigns like these are great for emerging artists. E.G. the week-long ad. campaign for Savage Montage produced some surprising demographic and location analytic insights. We got to know the audience better, which helped us to refine and improve our next campaigns - one using reels in Meta ads. running parallel with a playlist pitching campaign.
