From the recording Open
A song about falling in love with someone with whom you can totally be yourself… someone who speaks to you at a deeper level, allowing you to be vulnerable and completely honest, without any fear of judgment or rejection. More John Stowers music at https://johnstowers.com/
Lyrics
OPEN
Open your eyes
I need to see you shine
Open your lips
So I can kiss your smile
Open your heart and tell me
That this will always be
Only you can open me
Open the window
Let the breeze blow in
Open your hands
Softly touch my skin
Open your arms and hold me
I need to feel you breathe
Only you can open me
Close the door and lock the world outside
Close my wounds and heal the pain I hide
I’m here before you unashamed
Wrapped within you unafraid
O-o-open with you I’m
O-o-o o-o-o o-o-open with you I’m
O-o-o o-o-o o-o-open
Open your eyes
I need to see you shine
Open your lips
So I can kiss your smile
Open your heart and tell me
That this will always be
Only you can open me
O-o-o o-o-o o-o-o-pen with you I’m
O-o-o o-o-o o-o-o-pen with you I’m
O-o-o o-o-o o-o-o-pen with you I’m
O-o-o o-o-o o-o-o-pen with you I’m
